DESIGNER

A successful candidate will have three or more years of experience in both sales and residential design, a working knowledge of Cabinet Vision and 2020 design software, and construction related knowledge. Applicants must be able to work well with a team and independently; have excellent oral and written skills; have respect for clients’ opinions, styles and budgets; and be open to both giving and receiving feedback. A valid driver’s license is required.

Duties include, but are not limited to: consulting with clients to create their perfect space, anticipating their needs and suggesting finishes and features; providing accurate and succinct presentations to clients; conducting initial measurements; planning for and guiding clients through renovation process; and working closely with trades, installers and the Gateway Team to craft spaces that are breathtaking, useful, built for quality, and on time.

DESIGN ASSISTANT

Are you interested in home design? We are currently seeking a detail-oriented candidate for a Design Assistant position to enhance our Sales and Design Team.

Duties include (but are not limited to): assisting designers with cabinet pricing, producing simple design renderings, uploading images to showroom slideshow for client meetings, maintaining and organizing showroom samples, and purchase order entry.

An ideal candidate would have a basic knowledge of home design and be a self-motivated team player with excellent verbal and written communication skills. Proficiency in spreadsheets, word processing and basic math is necessary to be successful in this position. Experience in cabinetry rendering programs is a bonus but training will be provided.

DRAFTSPERSON / ORDER PROCESSOR

The best builders have the best plans. We’re looking for an accurate, analytical problem-solver to join our Drafting/Order Processing team. Working closely with Designers, Production Managers, Suppliers and Installers, a successful candidate will quickly and accurately create drawings and written instructions for renovation and new construction projects while checking to ensure conformity to plant construction methods and material compatibility. To be considered, candidates must be highly organized, with good oral and written communication skills, be proficient with AutoCAD and Office Software and be able to read and interpret blueprints. Experience with Cabinet Vision, 2020, and CNC programming is an asset.
